Interactive Presentation

For authors who are interested, we are organizing interactive presentations FSR 2012. This is a presentation style which has recently been growing in popularity at conferences. If you attended IROS2011, you may know about them. If you are interested in presenting your paper as an interactive presentation, please inform us by email at fsr2012@astro.mech.tohoku.ac.jp.

An interactive presentation has two parts:

  1. Introduction: You have two minutes presentation to make a short introduction in the main conference room. You may use a minimum number (one or two) of sides. The introduction session is assigned on July18th (Wed) 13:15-13:30.
  2. Exhibit: You will have a large LCD display (22 inch, typically), small table, and a power outlet in your booth. You are welcome to use your laptop and any other hardware you bring. Please confirm your computer has a Japanese AC power adapter (100V) and provides a port for standard VGA connectors. VGA cables (D-Sub 25 pin) will be provided. Posters may be displayed on the wall of your booth, but posters are not a requirement. The exhibit session is assigned on July 18th (Wed) 13:30-15:00.

As the number of the booths is limited, please let us know if you are interested in the presentation style, as soon as possible.
